We're in the top 10% in the country!

Because we truly care about you and your family, we participate in a yearly assessment that measures our health outcomes, employee satisfaction, and resident and family satisfaction against 3,500 other nursing homes across the country.

2010 Resident & Family Satisfaction:
     96% overall satisfaction
     97% are willing to recommend us
     to others

The national peer group average is 89% for both of these categories.*

More good news...there was a 4-5% increase in those who described their satisfaction as "Excellent" when compared to results in 2009.

Resthaven won’t be satisfied until residents, family members, and employees all rate us at 100% Excellent! 

 * The peer group which we compare ourselves contains many of the top nursing homes in the country.

Participation in these satisfaction surveys is voluntary and has a cost.  Many nursing homes do not participate because they fear they won't measure up or cannot afford the cost. 

Employee Satisfaction
Research has shown that in the area of long-term care for older adults, if the caregivers are happy, so are residents and their families.  Since employees see what happens behind the scenes, our community finds this information of great value.  Here are the results for 2009:

• 93% of our staff members would recommend the Resthaven Care Center to others for care.  The national peer group average is 74%.
• 86% of staff members are satisfied with their jobs overall.  The national peer group average is 65%.
• 88% would recommend to others to work at the Resthaven Care Center.  The national peer group average is 67%.
